If you like a good laugh and you'd like to meet new people, then
why not come and join us. Bradford 18 Plus, the fun and frantic
organization for 18 to 35 year olds.18 Plus is a national
organization for young people to take part in a wide range of fun
activities - from sports to parties, day trips to charity fund-raising,
holidays to ... almost anything in fact. Just take a look at this
programme of events and see for yourself.
18 Plus is not political, religious or profit-making. Everyone
aged 18 - 35 is welcome to come along to the The
spirt of bradford bar in the midland hotel and meet the
Bradford Group. You can be sure of making new friends and having a great
time. There are also local 18 Plus Groups in Rothwell, and
Leeds.
CHARITY FUNDRAISING
One of the most rewarding fulfilling and often craziest of
activities we do at Bradford 18 Plus is charity fundraising. We do this
in a whole range of mad ways for all different charities - The Special
Care Baby Unit, Leukemia Research, Shelter, the NSPCC, Children in Need
and the Ear Trust are just some of those we have helped in the past.
We have had book stalls, raffles, discos, quizzes,
slave auctions, sponsored walks, after Christmas we always have a naff
prezzie auction and we've even been sponsored to don fancy dress and sit
on toilets in the train station for 8 hours. We try to involve m many
people m possible and if we can rope in a celeb` or two then all the
better. One thing we always try to do is make things fun for the people
taking part as well as the beneficiaries
